2024 : Developing new work

Looking beyond the borders of Berlin unexpectedly led me from being part of a nervous swarm to a more conscious perception of singularity - and to new concentration and focus. Driving to the studio, the disturbances diminish from kilometer to kilometer, and with increasing distance the image of what I unconsciously collect in the metropolis stand out more clearly. The spatial distance and the otherness of the place enable me to grasp the specifics of the city more clearly from a more distant point of reference. This place offers me the opportunity to filter the experiences I have absorbed within the restlessness of the urban environment and to transform them into sculptural forms.
